My dad has had suffolks since before i was born www.carnforthsuffolks.com
in the last 5 years his flock has come a long way selling ram lambs
 to noted flocks of Pexhill , Lindum , Tegsnose and hallhill.
The flock has also certificates of merit in 2003,4
in 2005 the flock won res.best flock ewes second only to someone called Robbie Wilson
I have been involved in lambing , rearing , dressing , showing
and selling , i believe there is nothing better than hands on
experience .
The farm is located 12 miles from Carlisle / 4 miles from Longtown and comprises of 110 acre of grass and 50 acres of woodland. We are currently milking 70 holstiens and raising 50 youngstock to follow on.We have built up to around 60 suffolks and there lambs.We rent around an extra 30 acres every year to rear or crop.
